Alderman Scott is in his seventh year of service in the City of Flint Hill. He was appointed to his position as Ward Two Alderman on April 4th, 2000, and has subsequently been re-elected in the 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009 elections. Previously, he has served on the Board of Alderman as President of the Board, filling in as Mayor Pro Tem in the absence of the Mayor, and as the Board of Alderman representative to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
